After their reunion tour a few years ago, it seemed like there wasn't a chance in Hell of The Police getting back together ever again. In a new interview, though, Andy Summers says he's not opposed to the idea. When talking about his new film, Can't Stand Losing You, Summers says working on the film brought back a "warm feeling" of the band and its music.
From his Billboard interview:
"I never say never about anything; the world is strange, so who knows," he says. "Surely if you're human, there's a little part of you that wants this great stuff to carry on. You can't simplify it. It's a mix of 'Thank God it's over' and 'Why are we stopping?' But it does end and you get on with your life again and let it fade away."
So... I wonder if he can get Sting and Stewart Copeland to appreciate those same warm feelings? If so, maybe it's not the last of The Police after all?
