I remember trying to get out of bedtime many times, and I am sure your kids have tried to as well, but calling 911 takes the cake.
A ten-year-old in Massachusetts boy did not want to go to bed the other night. His mom had told him to get ready but it was winter break for the fourth-grader and he wasn’t tired. So he called the police for help.
He dialed 911, but hung up real quick. Then operator called back and they sent out an officer to talk to the boy about the importance of leaving 911 calls for emergencies only.
Besides the scolding from the cops and getting grounded for two weeks, he’s probably going to obey bedtime rules from now on.
