Seafair counts the Blue Angels as the top attraction, behind the boats, the pirates and the parade.
Seafair, for the uninitiated, is an annual July/August festival with ship tours, air shows, hydroplane races, parades, and street performances that take place in the Seattle area.
The Blue Angels are a big thrill for everyone in the area. Even if you don't go to Seafair, if you live or work close enough to Downtown, you can still catch them overhead, during practices and performances.
Sadly, that might come to an end. According to the
Seattle Times, "Seafair’s Blue Angels air show could be canceled do to budget cuts that are scheduled to hit the Navy on March 1"
Will boats and parades and pirates be enough?
