If you're a Wallflowers fan, you've had to endure a bit of a dry spell -- like SEVEN YEARS since the last Wallflowers album. Well the wait is over, almost. The new album's called Glad All Over, it's coming out on October 2, and Rolling Stone is streaming the first track here. It's called "Reboot the Mission," and the coolest thing about the track is that Mick Jones of The Clash sings and plays guitar. It actually sounds pretty Clash-y, and I think that's a good thing.

Wallflowers front man Jakob Dylan says:
"It made sense to us to ask the mighty Mick Jones to partake." The goal is to be "a rock band that could make a dance track too, without crossing over to the extreme side," Dylan says. But the Wallflowers’ willingness to modernize their sound does not translate to their wardrobes. One trend that they will not be following is skinny jeans. "We dress age appropriate," Dylan says, laughing.
