Freddie Mercury sings opera, with a real opera singer

This is kind of crazy. In 1987, Freddie Mercury stepped out of his role as front man of Queen with a solo album called Barcelona and a collaboration with a Spanish opera soprano named Montserrat Caballe. They're re-releasing it, and they've re-recorded the title track with a full 80-piece orchestra backing the original vocals. Check this thing out:
The album comes out on September 3 (which would have been Freddie's 66th birthday) in the form of a 4-CD box set. And you thought he couldn't be more flamboyant and over the top!
