They mocked Ballard and Kent and every aspect of life here in the politically correct, slightly backward Pacific Northwest of the 1980s and 1990s. They even mocked The Mountain when we first went on the air. Now it looks like at least some of the cast members of Almost Live are putting the magic back together.
Back in the day, Almost Live was such an institution that it pushed the start of Saturday Night Live back 30 minutes here in Seattle. It's not clear what form this new show will take -- on TV, cable, or on the web. But check out these two teaser videos for "The (206)" starring John Keister and Pat Cashman, and notice how weird it is to see them in HD instead of the grainy VHS-style resolution we remember from the original show:
