The Northwest's annual foodie extravaganza, the Bite of Seattle, comes to Seattle Center this Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Trust me, this isn't just curly fries and elephant ears: Fifty restaruants, all offering a small plate featuring a taste of what they do best. Live muisc, cooking demos, great people watching . . . . and you'll find me at The Alley. Here's the scoop:
Double-time your dollar while sampling from Seattle’s best. Enjoy tastes from both iconic Seattle restaurants and exciting up-and-comers and give back to the community, all at the same time!
Admission through The Alley includes a multi-course meal of tastes from a selection of the area's best restaurants. Proceeds benefit Food Lifeline, the local hunger relief organization efficiently serving the Western Washington area by using 95% of revenue to directly feed hungry people.
I'll be hanging out at The Alley on Friday afternoon between 3 and 5 pm (ish.) The lineup of restaruants there changes every day, so check out the full schedule and menu here.
Here's a chat I had with Brad Dickinson, of Bellevue's Koral, and Hallie Vea, PR person for the Bite:
