If you were a kid in the Northwest between 1958 and 1981, you know all about J.P. Patches. He hosted the longest running local kids TV show ever, anywhere. As J.P., Chris Wedes was probably the biggest TV star Seattle has ever known. He died on Sunday after a long battle with cancer.
