The stories coming out of Newtown, CT continue to break my heart. It's true, though, that if there's anything positive to come from tragedy, it's that Americans come together to help each other. (Nevermind the gun and 2nd amendment rights arguments on Facebook... we'll just focus on goodwill for now...)

Money isn't the only way to help. The town has set up a PO Box for the families affected by the Shady Hook massacre. They are encouraging people around the world to send cards, letters, prayers, and kind thoughts. Monetary help is always nice... but there's something about a handwritten letter that is good for the soul - it doesn't matter if you've written it, or received it. As they say, it's the thought that counts, and if your thoughts are with Newtown, send them a note to:
