Steven Stills is not holding his tongue anymore on the cancellation of the Buffalo Springfield tour earlier this year. Neil Young pulled from the tour to work with Crazy Horse this year (see them Saturday at Key Arena), and according to Stills, left him and 150 employees in the lurch.
In an interview with Rolling Stone, Stills say, "It left me in a lurch for three quarters and ruined my financial planning. Also, 150 people got laid off that were supposed to work on the tour." In the same interview, bandmate Graham Nash shares that he and David Crosby were originally going to tour together, but decided to make it a full Crosby, Stills & Nash bill to help Stills.
However, Stills won't bad mouth Young, even after a tumultuous 2012, saying "He was very kind to me in his book, I can't be unkind about it . . . Working with Neil is a privilege, not a right."
