It seems that some days are chock full of happenings for a group, and today is no exception for the Beatles. It was this day in 1969 that Paul McCartney married Linda Eastman, undoubtedly the true love of his life.
It wasn’t a great day for George and Patty Harrison though; they were arrested on the same day for possession of marijuana at their home.
A few years later 1974, John Lennon and friend/singer Harry Nilsson were kicked out of the Troubadour in Hollywood for causing a disturbance. Harry Nilsson supposedly said later that some people thought he was the bad influence, when really it was the other way around.
