The Seattle Humane Society in Bellevue brought 84 chihuahuas and other small-breed dogs up from California. I don't think I need to tell you why . . . . There's a big overbreeding problem down there, partly because people see Paris Hilton carrying around a chihuahua like it's just another fashion accessory, and they want one too.
Here's the story from LA. Yeah, they really do call it Air Chihuahua. And here's the story from our end here in the Northwest:
Whether you're interested in adopting one of these li'l amigos from the Seattle Humane Society, or maybe giving a home to one of the dogs at Seattle Animal Shelter, my advice is to go with a shelter dog. I swear shelter dogs somehow know what you've done for them and they appreciate it for the rest of their lives.
