'Conversations' is a public affairs program that looks at issues and how they affect individuals, families, our local communities and the nation. On each show, host Lizz Sommars explores an issue with newsmakers, pundits, authors, doctors, educators and others who express their views on these topics. Topics covered include the economy, education, the environment, government, terrorism, youth and family, health, discrimination, poverty, aging issues and spirituality.
 
Lizz Sommars bio:
Lizz Sommars is a veteran reporter who has over 25 years experience in radio News and Public affairs, and has hosted 'Conversations' since 1999. She is also a first-place national award winner for her 5-part public affairs series 'Children and Sugar Addiction' presented by the American Academy of Family Physicians.
